What Hath God Wrought!

With those words Samuel Morse tapped out the first message sent from Washington DC to Baltimore in Morse code on May 4, 1844. Earlier, on January 6, 1838, Morse had demonstrated his invention near Morristown, New Jersey by sending the message "A patient waite is no loser."

January 6 is also the 250th wedding anniversary of George and Martha Washington.
